Gerald has found a safe new apartment in Quezon City and needs help moving heavy furniture on Friday.

After a break-in at the old place, I found a safe, affordable apartment in Quezon City, and the lease starts on Friday. I have two children, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers.
I'm hoping for four volunteers for about three hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel.
The old place is on the third floor with no elevator and the new place has a ground-floor entrance. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me.
I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer.

Hope things get better soon, Gerald. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry.
