Moving day volunteers: Francisca's family relocating in Salvador
Moving day on Monday: we need a few strong people and ideally a van.

After my landlord sold the building, I found a safe, affordable apartment in Salvador, and the lease starts on Monday. I have two children, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers.
I'm hoping for a few strong people for about five hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel.
The old place is on the third floor with no elevator and the new place has an elevator. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me.
I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
