Moving day volunteers: Charles's family relocating in Coventry
A short, concrete way to help: a few hours of lifting and loading in Coventry.
🇬🇧 Coventry, England, United Kingdom410 views
After mold in the old building became a health issue for my child, I found a safe, affordable apartment in Coventry, and the lease starts on Sunday. I have two children, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers.
I'm hoping for four volunteers for about five hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel.
The old place is on the fourth floor walk-up and the new place has just one flight of stairs. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me.
I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Sending love. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Love from Da Nang.
Wishing you peace, Charles. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did.
Good luck, Charles. Looking forward to the next update. Blessings
praying for you. This could happen to any of us. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Take care.
Hope it all works out, Charles. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together
