Nnewi
Ngozi lives with profound hearing loss. The occupational therapist at the Nnewi Rehabilitation Centre has assessed her and recommended a stair-climbing aid. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $50. Her current equipment is 14 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 10 weeks. With the right equipment Ngozi could join the school sports day. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing. Where the $50 goes: • Fitting and training sessions: $30 • Delivery and set-up: $10 • First-year servicing plan: $10 Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself. - Nkechi
