Mobility fund: stair-climbing aid for Kamrul in Mumbai

I live with muscular dystrophy. My occupational therapist at Mumbai General Hospital has assessed me and recommended a stair-climbing aid. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $600. My current equipment is 8 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 10 weeks. With the right equipment I could join the school sports day. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
