Mobility fund: prosthetic leg for Zahra in Bekasi
Help Zahra get a prosthetic leg so She can go to school independently.
🇮🇩 Bekasi, West Java, Indonesia1,226 views
Zahra lives with cerebral palsy. The occupational therapist at the Bekasi Rehabilitation Centre has assessed her and recommended a prosthetic leg. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $100.
Her current equipment is 11 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 5 weeks.
With the right equipment Zahra could go to school independently. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $100 goes:
• First-year servicing plan: $60
• Delivery and set-up: $10
• Fitting and training sessions: $30
Thanks for being kind about this.
