Mobility fund: pair of hearing aids for Utami in Bekasi

Utami lives with profound hearing loss. The occupational therapist at the Bekasi Rehabilitation Centre has assessed her and recommended a pair of hearing aids. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $100. Her current equipment is 14 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 8 weeks. With the right equipment Utami could attend work interviews. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
