Anna lives with a spinal cord injury. The occupational therapist at the London Rehabilitation Centre has assessed her and recommended a braille note-taker. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $6,850. Her current equipment is 13 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 10 weeks. With the right equipment Anna could attend work interviews. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing. Where the $6,850 goes: • braille note-taker: $6,250 • Fitting and training sessions: $210 • Delivery and set-up: $150 • First-year servicing plan: $240 I hope life is good to you.
