Mi-sook is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a nursing degree at Mapo Polytechnic, and is two terms away from graduating. She has worked as a warehouse packer to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $3,550. The registrar has said Mi-sook can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Mi-sook has a top-ten-percent average, and a department head has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Mi-sook would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Mi-sook isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Mapo Polytechnic bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
