I'm launching a catering business in Minneapolis next February. I have saved the start-up funds myself, but I have never run a business before. I've questions about pricing, suppliers, simple bookkeeping, hiring and - frankly - how not to burn out. I'm looking for a mentor with real small-business experience, ideally in a catering business, willing to have a monthly call for the first six months. I'll bring a list of questions and my numbers. If you have a few hours a month, and enjoy helping someone avoid the mistakes you made, I'd really appreciate it. I hope life is good to you.

  • Hang in there, Carmen. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Thinking of Minneapolis.

    • Rooting for you. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I'll check back for the next update. Love from Bakersfield

      • Praying for you, Carmen. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust.

        • Hope the shop reopens soon. My neighbor in Johannesburg donated after I showed her your page.
