Joseph is launching a tailoring studio and would love advice from someone who has built one.

I'm launching a tailoring studio in Kampala next October. I have saved the start-up funds myself, but I have never run a business before. I've questions about pricing, suppliers, simple bookkeeping, hiring and - frankly - how not to burn out.
I'm looking for a mentor with real small-business experience, ideally in a tailoring studio, willing to have a monthly call for the first three months. I'll bring a list of questions and my numbers.
If you have a few hours a month, and enjoy helping someone avoid the mistakes you made, I'd really appreciate it.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.
- effort
- 1 hour a month
- format
- Online or by phone
- skills
- small business experience, bookkeeping, pricing

Best of luck. Your post was clear and honest. Thinking of Kampala.
Hope it all works out, Joseph. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Take care.
Sending strength. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I have a 17 year old who wants to send good wishes too
wishing you the best, Joseph. This could happen to any of us.
