A short monthly mentoring call on pricing, suppliers and bookkeeping would help a first-time founder.

Half-Way Tree
I'm launching a catering business in Half-Way Tree next January. I have saved the start-up funds myself, but I have never run a business before. I've questions about pricing, suppliers, simple bookkeeping, hiring and - frankly - how not to burn out. I'm looking for a mentor with real small-business experience, ideally in a catering business, willing to have a monthly call for the first three months. I'll bring a list of questions and my numbers. If you have a few hours a month, and enjoy helping someone avoid the mistakes you made, I'd really appreciate it. You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

  • Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I went through something like this 7 years ago and strangers helped me out. Love from Scranton.

    • Rooting for you. It takes guts to ask. Well done. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry.

      • sending good thoughts, Andre. Hope you get there.

        • Hope you make a strong comeback. Sent it to 29 people at work. God bless!

          • Praying for you, Andre. Hope the shop reopens soon. Thinking of Half-Way Tree
