Mentor wanted: moving from security guard to renewable energy
A mentor in renewable energy could help Sandra with a portfolio, interviews and first-job strategy.

I have worked as a security guard for 12 years, and I'm 39. After being laid off, I decided to move into renewable energy, and I have completed a part-time diploma.
What I'm missing is someone who has walked this path: feedback on my interview answers, a realistic view of the job market in Bahia, and a sounding board when things feel overwhelming.
I'm hoping for one 45-minute video call a month for three months, plus the occasional email question. I'll bring specific questions and I won't waste your time.
All I can offer back is my thanks, and I'll mentor someone else once I'm settled.
Glad we found this place.

Hope things get better soon, Sandra. Hope you make a strong comeback. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. God bless.
