I have worked as a retail manager for 6 years, and I'm 47. After my children starting school, I decided to move into UX design, and I have completed an online certificate. What I'm missing is someone who has walked this path: feedback on my resume and portfolio, a realistic view of the job market in Texas, and a sounding board when things feel overwhelming. I'm hoping for one 45-minute video call a month for six months, plus the occasional email question. I'll bring specific questions and I won't waste your time. All I can offer back is my thanks, and I'll mentor someone else once I'm settled. Thank you so much.

  • Good luck, Francis. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes.

    • rooting for you, Francis. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Blessings.

      • Sending strength. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Don't be hard on yourself for asking.

        • Sending good thoughts. Shared this with my family. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. All the best
