I have worked as a retail manager for 18 years, and I'm 37. After my children starting school, I decided to move into teaching, and I have completed a self-study course with a project portfolio. What I'm missing is someone who has walked this path: feedback on my interview answers, a realistic view of the job market in Metro Manila, and a sounding board when things feel overwhelming. I'm hoping for one 45-minute video call a month for three months, plus the occasional email question. I'll bring specific questions and I won't waste your time. All I can offer back is my thanks, and I'll mentor someone else once I'm settled. Thank you so much.

wishing you the best, Angelo. Your post was clear and honest. After 19 years in public service I know how hard it is to ask for anything. Thinking of Manila

        • Thinking of you, Angelo. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My husband and I read this together. Take care.
