Meena's school year: uniform, books and a laptop
Help Meena begin Year 10 with a laptop, uniform and books.

I earned a place in Year 10 at Nashik Science Academy, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the coding course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $200, which is more than we have.
I love coding and want to become an architect. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $200 goes:
• Laptop: $100
• School uniform and shoes: $20
• Textbooks and workbooks: $45
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $35
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Updates from Meena
Thank you all. We're at 74% now ($147). I'm honestly stunned. the plan for school uniform and shoes is now scheduled.
Thank you all. We're at 66% now ($132). I'm honestly stunned. I made the first payment toward calculator, stationery and a school bag.
Good news. Because of your gifts ($82 in total) I met with the school supplier and confirmed the amounts. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.

How is Meena doing now?
Wishing you the best. Hope you get there. Wish I lived closer to Tema so I could bring a meal. Take care.
is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Meena.
It's all in the list in the story. laptop is the big one at $100, I'll post a receipt when it's paid. Thanks, that means a lot.
Best of luck. Hope this works out for you. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Thinking of Nashik.
