Mathematics help for Owen, preparing for the GCSE exam
Owen is working hard on mathematics but can't afford a tutor; 2 hours a week until the GCSE would help enormously.

My younger brother, Owen, is 16 and in Year 10. Owen loves school but mathematics has been a struggle since the school was closed during the floods. The GCSE exam is in November.
We can't afford a private tutor, and the school's free sessions are full. We're looking for a volunteer who could spend one or two hours a week, in person in Syracuse or online, for about twenty weeks.
Owen is polite, hardworking and eager. We have a quiet space and a laptop for online sessions. I'll always be at home for in-person sessions.
If you're a teacher, student or professional who feels comfortable in mathematics, you could change the course of Owen's year.
I hope life is good to you.

As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. Thinking of Syracuse.
Hang in there. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Love from Kilkenny.
Praying for you, Thomas. Hope this works out for you. I'll check back for the next update. Greetings from São Paulo.
