Mariko needs a guide into nursing - monthly calls
Mariko, a security guard, is retraining for nursing and is looking for a mentor for monthly calls over six months.

I have worked as a security guard for 11 years, and I'm 29. After being laid off, I decided to move into nursing, and I have completed a part-time diploma.
What I'm missing is someone who has walked this path: feedback on my interview answers, a realistic view of the job market in Tokyo, and a sounding board when things feel overwhelming.
I'm hoping for one 45-minute video call a month for six months, plus the occasional email question. I'll bring specific questions and I won't waste your time.
All I can offer back is my thanks, and I'll mentor someone else once I'm settled.
Glad we found this place.

Wishing you the best, Mariko. Hope the shop reopens soon. I went through something like this 7 years ago and strangers helped me out. Blessings
thinking of you. Your post was clear and honest. After 29 years in engineering I know how hard it's to ask for anything. God bless.
I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I'm in farming myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Greetings from Alcalá de Henares.
Good luck, Mariko. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. After 18 years in nursing I know how hard it is to ask for anything. Greetings from Galway
so sorry you're going through this, Mariko. Hope the shop reopens soon. My neighbor in Riverside donated after I showed her your page.
