María's colon cancer treatment fund
12 rounds of treatment are planned at Madrid Cancer Centre; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.

María was diagnosed with colon cancer in August. The oncology team at Madrid Cancer Centre has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in October. She will be away from work for about 7 weeks.
Marían is 28, worked as a farmer until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Madrid Cancer Centre 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $3,450 goes:
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,300
• Transport to Madrid Cancer Centre: $790
• Scans and lab work: $1,050
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $310
