María needs my tuk-tuk repaired to get back to work in Ciudad de México
María's my tuk-tuk is María's only source of income and needs a clutch assembly replacement costing $250.

I make my living with my tuk-tuk. 7 weeks ago the clutch assembly failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $250. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $250 goes:
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $55
• clutch assembly replacement (parts): $145
• Towing and inspection: $50
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Best of luck. This could happen to any of us. I'm in hospitality myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you.
hope it all works out. Hope you get there. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected
Good luck, María. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Blessings.
best of luck. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. Thinking of Ciudad de México.
So sorry you're going through this, María. Your post was clear and honest. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Love from Nakhon Ratchasima.
