Maliha needs a freezer and scales to reopen a fish stall
A fish stall in Sylhet needs help replacing a freezer and scales after the demolition of the market.

For nine years I have run a fish stall in Sylhet. In June, the demolition of the market took a freezer and scales. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Wednesday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 3 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $550 goes:
• Replacing a freezer and scales: $270
• Initial stock: the first catch: $100
• Shop repairs and licensing: $80
• Working capital for the first month: $100
Thank you for reading my story.

is there anything that isn't money that would help Maliha?
Thank you. If you're in Sylhet I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great. Thanks for asking.
Shared it with a few friends. My husband and I read this together. Love from Brasília.
