Madelyn needs someone who understands: peer support in recovery
A weekly call with someone who has been through it - that's the whole ask.

I'm ninety days into recovery from cannabis dependence. I attend meetings and see a counselor, but the weeks between meetings are the hardest. I'd love a mentor - someone who has a year or more of recovery and who would be willing to talk once a week.
I'm not looking for a replacement for treatment. I'm looking for someone who understands what a bad Tuesday night feels like.
I'd prefer someone who's happy to do video calls. Any country is fine. I'll be respectful of your time and boundaries, and happy to pay it forward later.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Keep going. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Greetings from Pretoria.
