Lucía served six years; now needs help to get home
Lucía served six years in the infantry; $3,750 would cover a trained service dog and handler course.

Santiago served six years in the infantry and was discharged in 2023 with a back injury. He has been waiting nine months for support, and meanwhile is sleeping at a brother's place.
The plan: a trained service dog and handler course. The quote comes to $3,750.
Santiago is receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and is committed to recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
Money will be paid to the training provider and the landlord directly.
Where the $3,750 goes:
• Transport to appointments: $220
• Essential household items: $550
• Training provider fees: $2,980
Every share and every dollar helps.

Sending good thoughts. It takes guts to ask. Well done. We're a small family in Mysuru but we're thinking of you. Thinking of Baton Rouge.
Take care, Lucía. This could happen to any of us. Greetings from Kyiv.
