We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a youth football pitch - we need $350 for materials.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 26 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Lotus Primary School, but no funding. We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $350. It will serve about 544 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in July and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered. Where the $350 goes: • Materials: $230 • Permits and inspections: $15 • Safety equipment and signage: $30 • Tools hire and delivery: $75 You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Updates from Shruthi

  1. Update from Nagpur: the first invoice got paid this week. We're at 29% of the goal. Thank you for believing in us.

  2. Wanted to say thank you properly. 27% funded and I met with the suppliers and confirmed the amounts.

  3. Thank you all. We're at 9% now ($33). I'm honestly stunned. the plan for permits and inspections is now scheduled.
