Lorena needs a commercial oven to reopen a neighborhood bakery
Lorena lost a commercial oven to the demolition of the market and needs $4,450 to reopen a neighborhood bakery and support the family.

For six years I have run a neighborhood bakery in Hialeah. In May, the demolition of the market took a commercial oven. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Wednesday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 5 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $4,450 goes:
• Replacing a commercial oven: $2,900
• Initial stock: flour, butter and sugar: $410
• Shop repairs and licensing: $370
• Working capital for the first month: $770
With deep gratitude,
Lorena

Wishing you the best, Lorena. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. God bless
