I have worked as a security guard for 14 years, and I'm 48. After a health scare, I decided to move into UX design, and I have completed a self-study course with a project portfolio. What I'm missing is someone who has walked this path: feedback on my CV and LinkedIn profile, a realistic view of the job market in England, and a sounding board when things feel overwhelming. I'm hoping for one 45-minute video call a month for six months, plus the occasional email question. I'll bring specific questions and I won't waste your time. All I can offer back is my thanks, and I'll mentor someone else once I'm settled. I hope life is good to you.

          • Thinking of you. Gave what I could, wish it was more. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry!
