Looking for an UX design mentor: Luke's career change at 41
A mentor in UX design could help Luke with a portfolio, interviews and first-job strategy.

I have worked as a taxi driver for 18 years, and I'm 41. After a health scare, I decided to move into UX design, and I have completed an online certificate.
What I'm missing is someone who has walked this path: feedback on my resume and portfolio, a realistic view of the job market in California, and a sounding board when things feel overwhelming.
I'm hoping for one 45-minute video call a month for three months, plus the occasional email question. I'll bring specific questions and I won't waste your time.
All I can offer back is my thanks, and I'll mentor someone else once I'm settled.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
