Looking for an accounting mentor: Deepa's career change at 33
Seeking an experienced accounting professional for guidance on the transition from factory operator.
Anywhere in the world541 views
I have worked as a factory operator for 17 years, and I'm 33. After my children starting school, I decided to move into accounting, and I have completed a part-time diploma.
What I'm missing is someone who has walked this path: feedback on my resume and portfolio, a realistic view of the job market in Tamil Nadu, and a sounding board when things feel overwhelming.
I'm hoping for one 45-minute video call a month for six months, plus the occasional email question. I'll bring specific questions and I won't waste your time.
All I can offer back is my thanks, and I'll mentor someone else once I'm settled.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Thanks for sharing this, Deepa. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Thinking of Coimbatore.
