Looking for an accounting mentor: Benoît's career change at 30
Seeking an experienced accounting professional for guidance on the transition from taxi driver.
🇫🇷 France926 views
I have worked as a taxi driver for 15 years, and I'm 30. After years of wanting more, I decided to move into accounting, and I have completed an online certificate.
What I'm missing is someone who has walked this path: feedback on my interview answers, a realistic view of the job market in Île-de-France, and a sounding board when things feel overwhelming.
I'm hoping for one 45-minute video call a month for three months, plus the occasional email question. I'll bring specific questions and I won't waste your time.
All I can offer back is my thanks, and I'll mentor someone else once I'm settled.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
- effort
- 45 minutes a month
- format
- Online or by phone
- skills
- industry experience, patience, honest feedback

Hang in there, Benoît. I hope things turn around soon. God bless.
Thanks for sharing this. This could happen to any of us. My husband and I read this together!
