Derek needs about 47 pages of Somali documents translated for an official process and can't afford certified translation.

I need 47 pages translated from Somali to English for a custody case. Professional certified translation quotes are around $1,150, which my family can't afford.
If you're bilingual, and especially if you're certified or work in a related field, I'd really appreciate any time you can give. You can work on any portion; even five or ten pages helps.
I'll send scans securely through the platform's messaging once we agree. The deadline is July, but earlier is better so there's time for review.
I'll happily provide a letter of thanks and a reference.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
- effort
- 5–20 pages
- format
- Online or by phone
- skills
- bilingual fluency, translation, certification (helpful)

Thanks for sharing this, Derek. It takes guts to ask. Well done. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Love from Lahore.
Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I hope July is when things finally get easier.
