Looking for a volunteer Amharic translator: 20 pages
Looking for an Amharic-English translator, ideally certified, to help with a university credential evaluation.
Anywhere in the world907 views
I need 20 pages translated from Amharic to English for a university credential evaluation. Professional certified translation quotes are around $200, which my family can't afford.
If you're bilingual, and especially if you're certified or work in a related field, I'd really appreciate any time you can give. You can work on any portion; even five or ten pages helps.
I'll send scans securely through the platform's messaging once we agree. The deadline is October, but earlier is better so there's time for review.
I'll happily provide a letter of thanks and a reference.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
- effort
- 5–20 pages
- format
- Online or by phone
- skills
- bilingual fluency, translation, certification (helpful)

Wishing you the best, Eunice. I hope things turn around soon. My husband and I read this together. Take care
thinking of you, Eunice. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier.
Thanks for sharing this, Eunice. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Love from Santa Fe.
Wishing you peace, Eunice. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My father had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. All the best.
Hope things get better soon, Eunice. Looking forward to the next update. My neighbor in Jakarta donated after I showed her your page. All the best.
This could happen to any of us. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Greetings from Mumbai.
So sorry you're going through this, Eunice. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it
