Looking for a teaching mentor: Samuel's career change at 31
A mentor in teaching could help Samuel with a portfolio, interviews and first-job strategy.

I have worked as a hospitality worker for 17 years, and I'm 31. After my children starting school, I decided to move into teaching, and I have completed a bootcamp.
What I'm missing is someone who has walked this path: feedback on my CV and LinkedIn profile, a realistic view of the job market in Lagos, and a sounding board when things feel overwhelming.
I'm hoping for one 45-minute video call a month for six months, plus the occasional email question. I'll bring specific questions and I won't waste your time.
All I can offer back is my thanks, and I'll mentor someone else once I'm settled.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Praying for you, Samuel. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I'll check back for the next update
You're not alone, Samuel. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did.
Best of luck, Samuel. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I have a 12 year old who wants to send good wishes too.
Wishing you the best. Small businesses are the heart of Epe. Hope you're open again soon.
Your post was clear and honest. Wish I lived closer to Barcelona so I could bring a meal.
