Looking for a teaching mentor: Paul's career change at 54
A mentor in teaching could help Paul with a portfolio, interviews and first-job strategy.

I have worked as a factory operator for 12 years, and I'm 54. After my children starting school, I decided to move into teaching, and I have completed a self-study course with a project portfolio.
What I'm missing is someone who has walked this path: feedback on my CV and LinkedIn profile, a realistic view of the job market in Île-de-France, and a sounding board when things feel overwhelming.
I'm hoping for one 45-minute video call a month for four months, plus the occasional email question. I'll bring specific questions and I won't waste your time.
All I can offer back is my thanks, and I'll mentor someone else once I'm settled.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
- effort
- 45 minutes a month
- format
- Online or by phone
- skills
- industry experience, patience, honest feedback
