Looking for a teaching mentor: Kinsley's career change at 56
Kinsley, a factory operator, is retraining for teaching and is looking for a mentor for monthly calls over six months.

I have worked as a factory operator for 13 years, and I'm 56. After being laid off, I decided to move into teaching, and I have completed an online certificate.
What I'm missing is someone who has walked this path: feedback on my resume and portfolio, a realistic view of the job market in Victoria, and a sounding board when things feel overwhelming.
I'm hoping for one 45-minute video call a month for six months, plus the occasional email question. I'll bring specific questions and I won't waste your time.
All I can offer back is my thanks, and I'll mentor someone else once I'm settled.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
