Looking for a teaching mentor: Isaac's career change at 46
Isaac, a hospitality worker, is retraining for teaching and is looking for a mentor for monthly calls over three months.

I have worked as a hospitality worker for 9 years, and I'm 46. After the factory closing, I decided to move into teaching, and I have completed a bootcamp.
What I'm missing is someone who has walked this path: feedback on my CV and LinkedIn profile, a realistic view of the job market in California, and a sounding board when things feel overwhelming.
I'm hoping for one 45-minute video call a month for three months, plus the occasional email question. I'll bring specific questions and I won't waste your time.
All I can offer back is my thanks, and I'll mentor someone else once I'm settled.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Wishing you peace, Isaac. Gave what I could, wish it was more. After 27 years in accounting I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Thinking of San Diego.
