I have worked as a stay-at-home parent for 8 years, and I'm 29. After my children starting school, I decided to move into teaching, and I have completed a self-study course with a project portfolio. What I'm missing is someone who has walked this path: feedback on my capstone project, a realistic view of the job market in Missouri, and a sounding board when things feel overwhelming. I'm hoping for one 45-minute video call a month for four months, plus the occasional email question. I'll bring specific questions and I won't waste your time. All I can offer back is my thanks, and I'll mentor someone else once I'm settled. I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

  • So sorry you're going through this. This could happen to any of us. Love from Cali.

    • you're not alone, Doris. Small businesses are the heart of Columbia. Hope you're open again soon. Greetings from Likoni

      • You're not alone. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. After 16 years in customer support I know how hard it's to ask for anything.

        • Hope it all works out, Doris. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. All the best
