Looking for a software testing mentor: Ravi's career change at 30
Seeking an experienced software testing professional for guidance on the transition from hospitality worker.
Anywhere in the world185 views
I have worked as a hospitality worker for 15 years, and I'm 30. After my children starting school, I decided to move into software testing, and I have completed a self-study course with a project portfolio.
What I'm missing is someone who has walked this path: feedback on my capstone project, a realistic view of the job market in Maharashtra, and a sounding board when things feel overwhelming.
I'm hoping for one 45-minute video call a month for six months, plus the occasional email question. I'll bring specific questions and I won't waste your time.
All I can offer back is my thanks, and I'll mentor someone else once I'm settled.
Glad we found this place.

Best of luck, Ravi. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Thinking of Mumbai.
Hang in there. Hope this works out for you. My neighbor in Jakarta Barat donated after I showed her your page. Blessings.
