Looking for a software testing mentor: Rahim's career change at 52
Rahim, a hospitality worker, is retraining for software testing and is looking for a mentor for monthly calls over four months.

I have worked as a hospitality worker for 13 years, and I'm 52. After the factory closing, I decided to move into software testing, and I have completed a self-study course with a project portfolio.
What I'm missing is someone who has walked this path: feedback on my CV and LinkedIn profile, a realistic view of the job market in Rajasthan, and a sounding board when things feel overwhelming.
I'm hoping for one 45-minute video call a month for four months, plus the occasional email question. I'll bring specific questions and I won't waste your time.
All I can offer back is my thanks, and I'll mentor someone else once I'm settled.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
- effort
- 45 minutes a month

Keep going. Hope you make a strong comeback. Sent it to 38 people at work. All the best.
Hope things get better soon, Rahim. Hope you make a strong comeback. Take care.
Rooting for you, Rahim. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry
Thinking of you. This could happen to any of us. Don't give up. Greetings from Salem.
Hang in there. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I hope December is when things finally get easier. Greetings from Alexandria.
Shared it with a few friends. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Thinking of Jaipur.
Thinking of you. Shared it with a few friends. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Blessings.
