Looking for a software testing mentor: Noah's career change at 54
A mentor in software testing could help Noah with a portfolio, interviews and first-job strategy.

I have worked as a call-centre agent for 18 years, and I'm 54. After the factory closing, I decided to move into software testing, and I have completed a bootcamp.
What I'm missing is someone who has walked this path: feedback on my interview answers, a realistic view of the job market in England, and a sounding board when things feel overwhelming.
I'm hoping for one 45-minute video call a month for three months, plus the occasional email question. I'll bring specific questions and I won't waste your time.
All I can offer back is my thanks, and I'll mentor someone else once I'm settled.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Thinking of you and your family, Noah. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Wish I lived closer to Winston-Salem so I could bring a meal. Thinking of Liverpool.
Keep going, Noah. Looking forward to the next update. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Take care.
You're not alone, Noah. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. All the best.
Rooting for you, Noah. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My cousin had a similar thing happen so this one hit home
sending strength. This could happen to any of us. My husband and I read this together. Greetings from Los Angeles.
Wishing you peace, Noah. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I'm in social work myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. All the best.
