Looking for a software testing mentor: Marilyn's career change at 54
Marilyn, a farmer, is retraining for software testing and is looking for a mentor for monthly calls over four months.

I have worked as a farmer for 8 years, and I'm 54. After being laid off, I decided to move into software testing, and I have completed an online certificate.
What I'm missing is someone who has walked this path: feedback on my resume and portfolio, a realistic view of the job market in California, and a sounding board when things feel overwhelming.
I'm hoping for one 45-minute video call a month for four months, plus the occasional email question. I'll bring specific questions and I won't waste your time.
All I can offer back is my thanks, and I'll mentor someone else once I'm settled.
Thank you for reading my story.

Sending good thoughts, Marilyn. Hope the shop reopens soon. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Greetings from Anaheim!
