Looking for a software testing mentor: Khánh's career change at 39
A mentor in software testing could help Khánh with a portfolio, interviews and first-job strategy.

I have worked as a stay-at-home parent for 17 years, and I'm 39. After years of wanting more, I decided to move into software testing, and I have completed a self-study course with a project portfolio.
What I'm missing is someone who has walked this path: feedback on my capstone project, a realistic view of the job market in Hanoi, and a sounding board when things feel overwhelming.
I'm hoping for one 45-minute video call a month for three months, plus the occasional email question. I'll bring specific questions and I won't waste your time.
All I can offer back is my thanks, and I'll mentor someone else once I'm settled.
Thank you so much.

Thinking of you and your family, Khánh. Hope you make a strong comeback. My cousin had a similar thing happen so this one hit home.
So sorry you're going through this, Khánh. Shared this with my family. After 27 years in retail I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Blessings.
Hang in there. Small businesses are the heart of Cầu Giấy. Hope you're open again soon. I went through something like this 6 years ago and strangers helped me out. God bless.
Hope things get better soon, Khánh. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Blessings.
Thanks for sharing this. Hope the shop reopens soon. Thinking of Cầu Giấy.
