I have worked as a stay-at-home parent for 15 years, and I'm 44. After the factory closing, I decided to move into software testing, and I have completed a self-study course with a project portfolio. What I'm missing is someone who has walked this path: feedback on my interview answers, a realistic view of the job market in Kano, and a sounding board when things feel overwhelming. I'm hoping for one 45-minute video call a month for four months, plus the occasional email question. I'll bring specific questions and I won't waste your time. All I can offer back is my thanks, and I'll mentor someone else once I'm settled. Thanks for being kind about this.

  • Take care, Kehinde. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did!

    • Thinking of you, Kehinde. Hope the shop reopens soon. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Take care

          • Praying for you, Kehinde. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Thinking of Wudil.
