I have worked as a stay-at-home parent for 14 years, and I'm 33. After years of wanting more, I decided to move into software testing, and I have completed a part-time diploma. What I'm missing is someone who has walked this path: feedback on my interview answers, a realistic view of the job market in Utrecht, and a sounding board when things feel overwhelming. I'm hoping for one 45-minute video call a month for four months, plus the occasional email question. I'll bring specific questions and I won't waste your time. All I can offer back is my thanks, and I'll mentor someone else once I'm settled. If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

  • Thanks for sharing this. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Greetings from Savar.

                • Hope it all works out, Ellen. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. After 11 years in retail I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
