Looking for a renewable energy mentor: Yong's career change at 30
Seeking an experienced renewable energy professional for guidance on the transition from factory operator.
Anywhere in the world415 views
I have worked as a factory operator for 8 years, and I'm 30. After being laid off, I decided to move into renewable energy, and I have completed a self-study course with a project portfolio.
What I'm missing is someone who has walked this path: feedback on my CV and LinkedIn profile, a realistic view of the job market in Ohio, and a sounding board when things feel overwhelming.
I'm hoping for one 45-minute video call a month for three months, plus the occasional email question. I'll bring specific questions and I won't waste your time.
All I can offer back is my thanks, and I'll mentor someone else once I'm settled.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Hope it all works out. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My neighbor had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Thinking of Toledo.
Good luck, Yong. Hope this works out for you.
