I have worked as a security guard for 8 years, and I'm 51. After years of wanting more, I decided to move into renewable energy, and I have completed an online certificate. What I'm missing is someone who has walked this path: feedback on my capstone project, a realistic view of the job market in Arusha, and a sounding board when things feel overwhelming. I'm hoping for one 45-minute video call a month for six months, plus the occasional email question. I'll bring specific questions and I won't waste your time. All I can offer back is my thanks, and I'll mentor someone else once I'm settled. Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Hope things get better soon. Hope the shop reopens soon. My husband and I read this together.

    • Praying for you, Njeri. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Take care
