Looking for a renewable energy mentor: Joyce's career change at 40
Seeking an experienced renewable energy professional for guidance on the transition from stay-at-home parent.
Anywhere in the world906 views
I have worked as a stay-at-home parent for 10 years, and I'm 40. After being laid off, I decided to move into renewable energy, and I have completed a self-study course with a project portfolio.
What I'm missing is someone who has walked this path: feedback on my capstone project, a realistic view of the job market in Metro Manila, and a sounding board when things feel overwhelming.
I'm hoping for one 45-minute video call a month for six months, plus the occasional email question. I'll bring specific questions and I won't waste your time.
All I can offer back is my thanks, and I'll mentor someone else once I'm settled.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

hope things get better soon. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Please keep us posted. Thinking of Manila
You're not alone. Hope you make a strong comeback. After 10 years in construction I know how hard it's to ask for anything. God bless
Rooting for you. Hope you make a strong comeback. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. God bless.
