Looking for a renewable energy mentor: Ife's career change at 50
Seeking an experienced renewable energy professional for guidance on the transition from stay-at-home parent.
Anywhere in the world1,158 views
I have worked as a stay-at-home parent for 14 years, and I'm 50. After my children starting school, I decided to move into renewable energy, and I have completed a self-study course with a project portfolio.
What I'm missing is someone who has walked this path: feedback on my capstone project, a realistic view of the job market in Abuja FCT, and a sounding board when things feel overwhelming.
I'm hoping for one 45-minute video call a month for six months, plus the occasional email question. I'll bring specific questions and I won't waste your time.
All I can offer back is my thanks, and I'll mentor someone else once I'm settled.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

praying for you. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Don't give up. All the best.
Stay strong, Ife. Small businesses are the heart of Gwagwalada. Hope you're open again soon
take care, Ife. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Don't give up. Love from Nagpur.
keep going. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Blessings
Best of luck. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Greetings from Mohammedia
