Looking for a renewable energy mentor: Hannah's career change at 45
Seeking an experienced renewable energy professional for guidance on the transition from taxi driver.
Anywhere in the world574 views
I have worked as a taxi driver for 9 years, and I'm 45. After a health scare, I decided to move into renewable energy, and I have completed an online certificate.
What I'm missing is someone who has walked this path: feedback on my CV and LinkedIn profile, a realistic view of the job market in California, and a sounding board when things feel overwhelming.
I'm hoping for one 45-minute video call a month for six months, plus the occasional email question. I'll bring specific questions and I won't waste your time.
All I can offer back is my thanks, and I'll mentor someone else once I'm settled.
Thanks for being kind about this.

Wishing you peace, Hannah. It takes guts to ask. Well done.
Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. After 15 years in hospitality I know how hard it is to ask for anything.
Sending strength, Hannah. I hope things turn around soon. God bless
Keep going, Hannah. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. After 7 years in teaching I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Love from Scranton!
