Looking for a project management mentor: Misaki's career change at 49
A mentor in project management could help Misaki with a portfolio, interviews and first-job strategy.

I have worked as a factory operator for 8 years, and I'm 49. After years of wanting more, I decided to move into project management, and I have completed an online certificate.
What I'm missing is someone who has walked this path: feedback on my interview answers, a realistic view of the job market in Tokyo, and a sounding board when things feel overwhelming.
I'm hoping for one 45-minute video call a month for four months, plus the occasional email question. I'll bring specific questions and I won't waste your time.
All I can offer back is my thanks, and I'll mentor someone else once I'm settled.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Best of luck. Your post was clear and honest. We're a small family in Saint-Denis but we're thinking of you.
It takes guts to ask. Well done. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Love from Embakasi
