Looking for a nursing mentor: Sanjay's career change at 39
Sanjay, a hospitality worker, is retraining for nursing and is looking for a mentor for monthly calls over four months.

I have worked as a hospitality worker for 11 years, and I'm 39. After being laid off, I decided to move into nursing, and I have completed a bootcamp.
What I'm missing is someone who has walked this path: feedback on my resume and portfolio, a realistic view of the job market in Gandaki, and a sounding board when things feel overwhelming.
I'm hoping for one 45-minute video call a month for four months, plus the occasional email question. I'll bring specific questions and I won't waste your time.
All I can offer back is my thanks, and I'll mentor someone else once I'm settled.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
- effort
- 45 minutes a month
- format
- Online or by phone
- skills

So sorry you're going through this, Sanjay. Your post was clear and honest. I'll check back for the next update. Thinking of Pokhara.
Stay strong, Sanjay. I hope things turn around soon. Put this on a community board in Khon Kaen this morning. Take care
Stay strong, Sanjay. I hope things turn around soon. I'm in engineering myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Greetings from Houston.
Hope things get better soon, Sanjay. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Love from Nottingham.
it takes guts to ask. Well done. After 14 years in social work I know how hard it's to ask for anything. All the best
